Chris joined Pacifica Commercial Realty in January 2007. He specializes in leasing and sales of retail and office properties from Paso Robles to Lompoc. Chris has leased several major retail and office projects on the Central Coasts, including Paso Robles Target Center, Wal-Mart/Albertsons Center in Arroyo Grande, OSH, Longs, Big 5, Ross Center in Pismo Beach, Wal-Mart/Home Depot Center in Santa Maria, Kohl’s Center in Santa Maria, and Tank Farm Office Park in San Luis Obispo. He has also sold several major retail centers and office properties over the last 2 years. Chris started at Coldwell Banker Dan Blough & Associates Commercial Division in 1989, just after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After 4 years, he moved to Prime Commercial, where he worked in retail real estate for nearly 15 years. Chris has been an active member of I.C.S.C. for several years.
Gerald Jankowski has been actively involved in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate in the greater Santa Maria and Central Coast market for over 20 years. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and is past President of "Improve North County" (INC), as well as being an active member of the Santa Maria Economic Development Association and the Chamber of Commerce. Gerald is widely recognized as a leading expert on retail properties in Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo counties. Gerald is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara.
Mike Kelly specializes in the sales and leasing of industrial properties in northern Santa Barbara County and southern San Luis Obispo County. After graduating as a student athlete from Righetti High School, Mike attended UCLA, where he volunteered hundreds of hours both as an academic tutor and as a member of the UCLA Alumni Association. He graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and his work experience includes internships with Chevron Texaco at the El Segundo oil refinery and with Boston Scientific at their San Jose R&D lab. Most recently, Mike was a loan officer at Wachovia Home Loans in San Luis Obispo.
Brian LaCabe, a graduate of U.C.S.B. in 1987, began his real estate career in San Luis Obispo County in 1989. Formerly with “Prime Commercial Real Estate” in Santa Maria until 2006, Brian has specialized in the sales and leasing of retail commercial properties in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties since 1996. In particular, Brian along with Chris Garner, was instrumental in the leasing of “The Crossings”, “Five Cities Center” and “The Crossings at Paso Robles”, the Central Coast’s most recent power centers. As a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, (I.C.S.C.), Brian regularly attends the West Coast I.C.S.C. conventions in Monterey, Las Vegas and Palm Springs where he markets local retail properties to national retailers.
Pat Palangi specializes in Industrial Property sales and leasing in the Santa Maria and North Santa Barbara County markets. He has worked continuously for Pacifica Commercial Realty in its Santa Maria office since 1991 and together with Jerry Schmidt, has completed the majority of all industrial transactions in the market since that time. They also continue to successfully market such high profile properties like Skyway Business Park, Gateway Business Center and Thompson Industrial Park.
Jerry attended the Business Management School at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In 1987, he began his industrial real estate career working in the San Francisco Bay area’s “Silicon Valley” as an Industrial/R&D specialist. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Jerry specializes in the industrial sector of the Central Coast real estate market. His association with Pacifica (formerly Beaver-Free Corp.) began in 1989 when he opened the Santa Maria satellite office. As the senior industrial real estate specialist in our Santa Maria Office, Jerry has extensive contact and interaction with local government, businesses, developers, and regional employers. Jerry serves the City of Santa Maria as a Sworn Police Officer with the SMPD Reserve Division. He also is a Contributing Editor of the UCSB North County Economic Forecast Project, and serves on the Board of Directors at Calvary Chapel of Santa Maria.
Natali Taylor joined Pacifica Commercial Realty in June 2007. She specializes in the leasing and sales of retail and office properties in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in December 2002, she worked as the Loans & Acquisitions Administrator for Inland Pacific Builders, Inc. During her time with IPB she was able to gather valuable knowledge and experience in numerous aspects of real estate development. Newlin Hastings is the founder of Hastings Enterprises, a commercial real estate company that merged with Pacifica Realty in 2008. Founded in 1989 and based in Paso Robles, Hastings Enterprises helped to shape the character of Paso Robles through its industrial brokerage services and retail and public development projects including the Granary, the historic Train Depot, the Food 4 Less Center and most recently the Gateway Center at First and Spring Streets. Newlin’s real estate career began in 1974 in development brokerage in Western Massachusetts. Moving to Paso Robles in 1979, Newlin was a founding partner in Coldwell Banker Western Properties, one of the first independently owned offices under the Coldwell Banker brand. With a sincere interest in community, sports, redevelopment of historic structures, economic development and the nurturing of new and innovative commercial real estate projects, Newlin remains vitally involved in the Paso Robles community and the greater Central Coast region.
Corban Holland joined Pacifica in 2007 and is a Sales Agent based in the Paso Robles office. He holds a degree in finance from Oral Roberts University and is a member of the family that owns Holland Construction, builder and operator of the new Holiday Inn Express in Atascadero and other development projects in the Central Coast area. Prior to entering the commercial real estate business, Holland taught bilingual elementary school in Honduras for more than three years as part of the Hurricane Mitch Relief effort.
